Fire in Balearic Sea
On Nov 21, 2017, the "L'Horitzo 1", 139 gt (IMO: 9099573), suffered a fire on board eight miles off the Ebro estuary. The ship had a crew of six on board. There were several fishing vessels in the vicinity to assist. Salvamento Maritimo mobilized a Helimer helicopter and the "Achernar". The fire was brought under control, and the trimaran was towed to port by the fishing vessel "Titaro II".
