Tug arrived at breakers

Fri Nov 27 13:49:49 CET 2020 Timsen

The “Ibaizábal Cuatro” has made its last voyage and berthed at the Dina Redena facilities in Baracaldo to be broken up in November 2020 after 43 years of service. It is a well-known tug in Galicia, since for an important part of its operational life it has been based in La Coruña, Ferrol and San Ciprián. Its nautical history has been quite extensive, from offshore towing, marine salvage and port towing. Between 1995 and 1997 it held the name "Drive Ocean VI" and for a few months in 1998 it was called "Four".
