Luxury yacht grounded in Dubai

Fri Dec 15 09:49:20 CET 2023 Timsen

The 'Indigo Star I' ran aground due to a technical fault, which caused the captain to lose control of the engines, in the Marina Harbour, Dubai, on Dec 1, 2023. The owners of the vessel were already in Dubai at the time of the incident and were informed about the situation by phone. In the night of Dec 1, salvage3 teams arrived and able to pull the vessel back into deeper water with the rising tide. The 'Indigo Star I' did not suffer damage and returned to sea on Dec 2.
