Power loss in Sound of Sleet
The 'Jura', en route from Leith to Stornoway with 17 crew members on board, lost power and went adrift in position 57 04 55.2 N, 005 48 05.4 W while transiting through the Sound of Sleet about 3,8 nautical miles northeast of Armadale, Isle of Skye, on Jan 16, 2022, at 03.15 a.m. After the power was restored, the vessel has continued its voyage to Stornoway with an ETA as of Jan 18.
