Ramp repairs completed

Repairs to the ramp of the 'Loch Buie' have been successfully carried out. and the vessel returned to normal service on MAy 27 with the2:15 p.m. sailing departing Fionnphort. While the repair works were carried out on the ferry, a passenger charter vessel operated the sailings between Fionnphort and Ione between 12:30 p.m. and 2:00. p.m.

Ferry suffered issue with aft ramp

The 'Loch Buie,' serving on the route Fionnphort-Iona, suffered an issue with the aft ramp, As a consequence, the vessel was operating single ended and was unable to accommodate any high sided vehicles over 2.3 metres in height. The repairs of the issue were scheduled to take place on May 27.

Technical issue during weekly drills

The Loch Buie', serving on the route Fionnphort-Iona, suffered a technical issue encountered during weekly drills on March 22. As a consequence, the 11:00 a.m. sailing from Fionnphort and 11:15 sailing from Iona were delayed. Crew were working to resolve the issue. The ferry then loaded for a departure from Fionnphort at 11:25 a.m., with the return sailing departing Iona at 11:35 a.m.. The normal timetable was resume with the 12:45 p.m. departure from Fionnphort.
