Traditional sailing ship damaged bridge

On Aug 16, 2015, the "Lovis" allided with a Bridge in Greifswald-Wieck which had to be closed for vehicle traffic. The ship hit the right bridge span which was opened and damaged a boom. The damage to the construction was estimated to be around 5000 Euro. The main mast pole of the "Lovis" broke on a length of 3 meters and the besan mast top on four meters length.
