The Port Authority of Kea was informed in the evening of June 28, 2022, that the cargo m/v 'Namasis' (IMO: 8102799) which was anchored and sideways tied at the breakwater of the port of Korissia, during the maneuvering process during its departure for the port of Sitia, Crete allided with its port side with the berthed 'Macedon' due to a north northeast wind of 5-6 Beaufort. The collision did not cause injuries, no marine pollution was observed. The Port Department of Kea of ​​the Central Port Authority of Lavrio, Chalkida, which conducted the preliminary investigation, banned the ships from sailing until the presentation of a certificate of seaworthiness and a certificate of class maintenance by the monitoring classification societies. As of June 29, the 'Nemesis' was anchored in pos. 37° 39.61' N 024° 19.05' E in the port basin. The 'Macedon' left Kea en route to Lavrio at 8 p.m.
