Hydraulic oil leak disabled tanker

The 'Maersk Tacoma', en route from Antwerp to Gibraltar in ballast condition, suffered a leak of hydraulic oil in the engine room in position 50 13 42 N, 001 09 18 W, on Jan 17, 2020. The vessel was contacted at 11.15 a.m. The issue was resolved at 11.35 a.m., and the ship resumed its voyage with an ETA as of Jan 21.

Maersk Tacoma boarded by robbers off Apapa-Lagos

The "Maersk Tacoma" was boarded by two robbers, while it was anchored, in position 06 17 12N, 03 13 52.2E, at the Apapa-Lagos secure anchorage, on Oct 13, 2018, at 12.45 a.m. The duty watchman noticed the robbers, raised the alarm and sounded the ship?s horn. The robbers jumped overboard and escaped, after hearing the alarm. A search was made throughout the tanker. The incident was reported to the local authorities and a patrol vessel was dispatched to investigate. Upon investigation, nothing was reportedly stolen.
