AP Moller-Maersk has taken delivery of the 18,270-TEU Triple E-class vessel, the Majestic Maersk, built by Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME) in South Korea. She replaces the 13,092-TEU Elba Maersk and sets in motion a round of cascades as the Elba Maersk joins the AE-2 loop, replacing the 8,400-TEU Maersk Tukang, which is due to join Maersk's Far East-US East Coast TP-7 service via Suez in September.
