Collision on the Rhine

The "Enyo", 1808 ts (EU-No.: 4007090), and the "Manouk", 3056 dwt (EU-No.: 244670068) were in collision on the Rhine south of Königswinter in the morning of June 29, 2018. The "Enyo" suffered a leak in the foreship and ran aground after the accident with the bow being submerged. The fire brigade Bonn, Bad Honnef and Königswinter as well as the water police were on scene and started surveys aboard the grounded ship. trying to prevent it from blocking the fairway. Two crew members of the "Enyo" suffered slight injuries and were treated by the rescue forces. She had sailed from Godorf on June 27 and was bound to Wahldorf.
