Silver Galapagos Scheduled for Month-Long Refurb

This September, Silversea Expeditions' Silver Galapagos will undergo a second phase of refurbishment during a month-long dry dock in Panama. The renovations will entail a complete refurbishment of all suites, corridors and the Explorer Lounge. An elegant blue and beige color palette will create an interior décor echoing that of the recently refurbished Silver Discoverer. Silversea festivities usher in new Galápagos ship

Festivities ushered in the second expedition ship for Silversea Cruises prior to its first sailing as Silver Galápagos on Saturday, Oct. 5. After an extensive refurbishment, the former Galápagos Explorer II began a year-round schedule from the Galápagos Islands.
