Yacht sank on the Maas
On May 28, 2015, at 6.45 p.m. the "Mar Mon" 527 ts (EU-No.: 3320138), was in collision with a pleasure boat on the Maas near Heijen in North-Limburg. The pleasure boat sank. Two people a board were saved from the water by the crew of the barge which was coming from Gorinchem. They were transferred to shore in the port of Gennep and treated by an ambulance, as well as the skipper of the barge. The kind of injuries was unknown. The yacht did not hamper the ship traffic on the river.
