Disabled ship under measurement
A thickness measurement of the side shell plating, ballast tanks, cargo compartments and main decks of the 'Margeritsa' was performed by an appointed class approved ultrasound measurement company. Steel replacement has been made considering the measurement report. The vessel, then the ' Anatoly Kolesov', had suffered an engine failure at Varna on Oct 1, 2020. The ship remained stationary in the Tuzla shipyard as of June 10, 2021.
Engine under repair in Tuzla
Repairs of the engine of the 'Anatoly Kolesov' have started at a Tuzla shipyard on Apr 22 upon completion of custom formalities on Apr 22. A joint damage survey of vessel was carried out by attending class surveyor together with the owner's superintendent and shipyard engineers.
Disabled ship towed to Tuzla for repairs
Repair attempts of the crew of the 'Anatoly Kolesov', which had suffered an engine failure at Varna on Oct 1, 2020, have failed. The Turkish tug 'Ocean Ergun' (IMO: 7222102) was accordingly contracted to tow the ship to a repair yard in Tuzla. Towage commenced on April 20. The ship was delivered at the yard in the night of April 21.
