Man who refused to wear his mask injured three crew members
A man who was not wearing his mask properly on the 'Star Ferry' threw punches at three crew members who came to warn him. On Feb 10, 2022, at 6.59 a.m. the police received a report that a middle-aged man injured three on the ferry from Tsim Sha Tsui to Central Pier No. 7. The man was not wearing a mask properly, and the crew members reminded him of the mask law. However, he not only refused to follow the advice but punched the crew members. He was then subdued by others on the ferry and arrested by the police. The three crew members, who suffered injuries on their hands and feet, were sent to the hospital for treatment. The case was listed as assault.
