Gas leak from NYK Artemis in LA container terminal
In the afternoon May 18 2012 unknown gas was found leaking from a container on board of a boxship NYK Artemis, berthed at Berth 212 of a Yusen/NYK shipping terminal at the Port of Los Angeles. Crew was evacuated, and a part of terminal closed, before 1400 LT investigation started. 25 fire fighters were on-scene as the investigation was conducted. Los Angeles firefighters and county health officials were testing the gas to determine what it was and how to contain it. Maritime Bulletin http://www.odin.tc
