Multipurpose salvage vessel Murman leaves Wismar for Murmansk

Multipurpose salvage vessel Murman, Project MPSV06, built by Nordic Yards Wismar GmbH (Germany) left for Murmansk on November 23, following the signing of acceptance/delivery certificate, IAA PortNews correspondent reports from the ship. It took one hour to pass the Wismar channel with two German pilots onboard the ship. According to Victor Boldinov, Captain of the Murman, the ship’s speed was 13 knots. He says the ship is completely ready with no remarks, mechanisms’ operation is normal, good maneuverability has been proved during mooring. Two 7 MW ships has been built this year by Nordic Yards Wismar GmbH under the subprogramme ‘Maritime Transport’ of the Federal Targeted Programme ‘Development of Russia’s Transportation System in 2010-2015”.
