Cocaine hidden in baby diapers

Four uitcases with 130 kilos of cocaine were found hidden in a container with baby diapers, which was on board of the "Luna Maersk". She jad arrived at Lazaro Cardenas on March 8, 2017, coming from Panama. Obviously both the vessel and its crew were not under suspicion in drug trafficking involvement. The vessel left port as scheduled, called Manzanillo on March 9 and continued the voyage, bound for Yokohama, ETA March 25.

Container ship delayed due to spider founds

The "DAL Stellendam" was refused to enter the port of Rotterdam coming from Cape Town in the night of Oct 8, 2013, as there might be dangerous spiders on board. During the sailing the crew had observed spiders thought to be Black Widows, captured a number and threw them overboard. A special inspection was carried out on board once the ship arrived in Rotterdam. About 20 more spiders were found and caught. The experts determined that it was not Black Widows but the less poisonous Brown Widow. On Oct 8 the ship was given the green light to berth in Rotterdam with one day delay.
