Engine failure in Fethiye

The "Flying Poseidon" suffered an auxiliary engine failure along with emergency support systems failure at Fethiye on Aug 3, 2018. The vessel's departure permission was cancelled by the port master until the completion of permanent repair works. A state surveyor attended onboard to verify the final repair status. The repair works were carried out by crew members.

Engine failure off Rhodes

On May 22, 2016, the "Flying Poseidon" suffered a mechanical failure during the voyage from the port of Fethiye to Rhodes 20 miles off of the Greek port after a damage of the starboard main engine. The ship which had on board three passengers and a crew of eight managed to reach Rhodes port with pwn power where she was detained until a class confirmation of the relevant ship classification society.
