Navios fixes capesize bulk carrier on a 16- to 21-month timecharter
NYSE-listed Navios Maritime Partners has fixed a capesize bulk carrier on a 16- to 21-month timecharter to an unnamed charterer. The Navios Fulvia (179,300 dwt, built 2010) was fixed at a net rate of $13,443 per day ($14,150 daily gross) for the contract, which will commence in August.

Owner and operator of dry cargo vessels, Navios Maritime Partners, has announced that it has purchased from Navios Maritime Holdings the ‘Navios Melodia’, a 2010 South-Korean-built Capesize vessel of 179,132DWT, and the ‘Navios Fulvia’, a 2010 South Korean-built Capesize vessel of 179,26DWT, for a total of US$177.0 million.
