Perpetrators stole engine spares

The 'Nord Adriatic' saling in the eastbound lane of the Singapore Strait, was boarded by three perpetrators in position 001 16 36 N, 104 16 57 E, on Sep 2, 2022, at 4.15 p.m. UTC. The Master activated the ship's general alarm, and a search was conducted by the crew, with no further sightings of the perpetrators. The Master then reported the incident to Singapore VTIS East. Spare generator parts were reported stolen. None of the crew was injured. The vessel did not require any assistance and continued its voyage to Qingdao with an ETA as of Sep 11.

Robbers stole ship's stores

While the 'Red Daisy' was moored in position 00 16 04S, 117 36 07E, at the Muara Berau anchorage on May 28, 2020, at 8.20 p.n., the Duty able seaman on routine rounds noticed the forecastle skylight opened and the anchor pipe cover and padlock missing. He immediately informed the duty officer who raised the alarm and got the crew mustered. A search was carried out and it was reported that ship's stores had been stolen. The incident was reported to the Coast Guard and they started their investigation.
