Hurtigruten ferry damaged in allision
The "Nordkapp" allided with the dock at Hammerfest on Nov 30, 2013, at 5.45 a.m. The ship was damaged at its aft on port side where the hull was dented. Repairs were to be carried out before the ship continued to Kirkenes on Dec 2. The passengers were being taken care of by the company, and some were sent further by bus or plane. Storm changes itinerary
Because of bad weather caused by storm Berit the "Nordkapp" cancelled its port calls between Nesna and Kristiansund. In accordance with the timetable the Nordkapp sailing, southbound in Kristiansund, On Nov 26 at 5 p.m.
