Disabled yacht towed to Longyearbyen
On Sep 19, 2020, the Norwegian Coast Guard was alerted by the ‘Ocean B‘ (MMSI: 211336220), which had suffered rudder failure south of Sørkapp in Spitsbergen and was drifting in blustery seas. The patrol boat ‘Barentshav‘ (IMO: 9389356), was deployed to the scene and managed to take the ship in tow. It was then pulled to Longyearbyen for repairs.
