Drugs found in reefer containers
The Mexican police seized two reefer containers on board of cthe "San Adriano" in Progreso port at the Yucatan Container Terminal, during vessel’s stay in port from Feb 6-12, 2016. The police was still checkingthe containers loaded with 24 tons of fish each, as of Feb 24 not less than 750 kilos of cocaine were found in boxes with frozen fish. The police believed that more than three tons of cocaine were hidden in containers. The cocaine was stashed in fish and also in ice packing each fish. The departure of the vessel from Progresso to Altamira was delayed due to the incident, ETA Feb 29.
