Ferry suffered technical error

The "Os" suffered a technical problem on July 28, 2019, at 3 p.m. and had to be withdrawn from the Skjelten-Lepsøy-Haramsøy route. After a power failure the loading bridge in Haramsøya fell into the water. The quay was blocked since. The ferry was sent to a yard for repairs. The "Austevoll" (IMO: 7812529) was inserted as a spare ferry, and at 5.40 p.m. the route was served again with a first departure from Skelten with the exception of Haramsøya.

Ferry sidelined due to technical trouble

The "Os" had to be withdrawn from the service Skjelten - Lepsøya - Haramsøya in the morning of Nov 14, 2017. The ship had encountered a technical problem with the engine. The reserve ferry "Tingvoll" was berthed in Kristiansund and would reach Hustadvika only in the evening Nov 16 due to hard winds.

Fire disabled ferry

The ferry service between Skjelten, Lepsøya and Haramsøya was interrupted on Nov 12, 2014, due to a small fire or kind of Explosion in the engine of the "Os". The ferry had be towed to the ferry terminal on Skjeltne and an ambulance boat was inserted to carry passengers. A reserve ferry was to be in place as soon as possible.
