Roro ship involved in collision

Wed Jun 12 10:53:21 CEST 2019 Timsen

The "Panstar Genie" was suspected to have been in collision with a small boat just after departing from Tokyo on June 10, 2019. At 8.50 p.m. the vessel dropped its anchor in the Nakanose Traffic Route in Tokyo Bay to be investigated by the Japanese Coastguard. As the result of the investigation, a high probability of incident was determined, and the vessel had to remain in the bay for further investigations by the Coastguard. On June 11 at 4.30 p.m. the vessel continued its voyage to Nagoya.
