Container ship got stuck under bridge
On April 12, 2024, at 7.40 a.m. the' Phuoc Long 72', which was to dock at Binh Duong port, dragged anchor due to strong currents, broke lose from its mooring and drifted towards Dong Nai bridge at the border between Long Binh Tan ward, Bien Hoa city and Binh Thang ward, Di An city, Binh Duong province, where it got stuck. The Dong Nai Provincial Police pulled the ship out again at 8.15. a.m. The ship was towed back to Binh Duong port, while the authorities assessed the extent of damage to the bridge.
