Collision off Shikoku
The "Pices" was in collision with the container shp "Safmarine Makutu" off the western island of Shikoku, Japan late on Oct 2, 2013. There were no injuries among the Crew of 13 resp. 21, and the two ships were not significantly damaged as they were able to continue their operations. The authorities have not identified who may be at fault for the collision as investigations were still underway.
