Delay due to engine trouble and smuggled meat

Tue Apr 26 09:26:22 CEST 2022 Timsen

The KM 'Queen Soya' arrived at the Port of Tepian City wih 526 passengers on board on April 24, 2022, with a delay of three hours after 15 boxes with a total weight of 300 kilograms of pork which were planned to be sent to the city of Tepian, were not in accordance with the invoice for the delivery of goods and eventually detained at the Port of Parepare. Agencies from the Parepare Plant and Veterinary Health Office carried out the inspection process. In the invoice, the 15 boxes contained snapper and grouper. However, it turned out to be pork in it. Also there had been trouble with one of the ship's engines which could be fixed in the middle of the sea.
