Deadly work accident on wellboat

The 43 year old Tom-Viggo Andersen died after an accident on board the "Rohav" in the afternoon of Sep 10, 2018. He was resident at Sortland. He was with three other colleagues when the accident occurred in the Bergsfjord at Senja. The man was confirmed dead when health professionals came to the spot.

Well boat pulled sunken f/v

The "Rohav" jointly with the lifeboat "Ulabrand" came to assist a sinking fishing boat in the Oksfjord. The Rescue Coordination Centre in Bodø was notified at 1.38 p-m. onm Dec 3, 2012, that a fishing boat was taking in water. The crew of two was saved by the lifeboat while the "Rohaven" tired to save the ship but, when on scene, found it with ist bow only sticking out of the sea. Both ships dragged it into an area with a water depth of 6-7 meter
