The "Rubiships IV" was successfully refloated and the Danube river free for any traffic on Apr 7, 2011.
RUBISHIPS IV 4019120
On May 6, 2011, the Danube was closed for ship traffic near the quay of the company Wurm & Köck between Deggendorf and Niederalteich due to the salvage of the "Rubiships IV". A crane and a salvage ship were called to refloat the vessel with its cargo of 822 tons steel pipes. The vessel got stuck on a gravel bar in April.
