Passenger vessel aground in Indonesia. 171 passengers evacuated

Passenger cargo vessel SABUK NUSANTARA 34 ran aground at 1pm Eastern Indonesian Time Aug 23 in position 07 42S 130 56E, Pulau Ngolin Island, shortly after leaving Saumlaki port, Jaumdena Island, Tanimbar Islands, which are separating Banda and Arafura seas. There were 171 passengers on board, including 18 children and 21 army conscripts. All passengers were evacuated and taken to Saumlaki, no injures reported. Vessel grounded due to lack of fairway navigational marks in dire waters near islands.
