Motor boat towed to Mahón

On July 21, the motor boat 'Tainata' became unmanoeverable due to a mechanical failure and went adrift between Punta Prima and Isla del Aire. Motor boat towed to Maó

On April 24, 2025, the motor boat 'Cutty All', with two crew members on board, issued a mayday call on VHF channel 16, with no clear position, near Maó. The CCS Palma of Salvamento Marítimo mobilized the 'Salvamar Antares' to assist. The SAR boat located the disabled boat near the rocky shore and took it in tow. SAR boat assisted after collision off Menorca

The CNCS was notified by the charter boat 'Laya' with six passengers and two crew members on board, that it had been in collision with the pleasure boat 'Galup' on Sep 3 south of Menorca. The small boat had sunk. The fisherman was picked up another boat from the water and taken to shore in good condition. The CCS Palma of Salvamento Marìtimo mobilised the 'Salvamar Antares', which towed the 'Laya' to the Mahón dry dock. The Maritime Captaincy and the Guardia Civil were informed.
