Four crew members from grounded yacht rescued
In the night before of April 9, 2024, the sailing yacht 'Amaretto' with four crew members on board ran aground in El Masnou. The CCS of Salvemento Marítimo in Barcelona mobilized the 'Salvamar Mintaka' to assist. It rescued the castaaways from the Sun Odyssey 43 yacht, which was hard aground on the rocks with a list to port side, and took them safely to the port of Barcelona. Fishing vessel towed to Barcelona
On Feb 13, 2024, the Spanish flagged fishing vessel 'Trasmallero' was adrift near the port of #Barcelona, due to a mechanical failure. Salvamento Marítimo tasked the 'Salvamar Mintaka' to assist. It took the ship in tow and safely pulled it to the fishing dock of Barcelona.
Yacht crew rescued off El Masnou
In the night of Dec 21 the sailing yacht 'Amaretta' ran aground at El Masnou. The MRCC of Salvamento Marítimo in Barcelona mobilized the 'Salvamar Mintaka' to assist, which rescued the four people who were on board the Sun Odyssey 42, from board and safely transferred them to the port of Barcelona.
