Blackout and engine failure
The 'Shandong De Yu', en route from Puerto Bolivar to Flushing with 20 crew members on board, suffered an engine failure following a total blackout in position 49 18 25.0N, 006 00 55.0W, on Oct 27, 2021, at 09.40 a.m. The defect could be rectified ty the crew, and the vessel continued on its voyage at 11.36 a.m. On Oct 28 at 7.10 p.m. it moored on Westhinder Anchorage, waiting for the permission to enter port.
