Allision in Karachi

On Oct 21, 2019, at 1.40 a.m. the heavy load carrier 'Da Xin' was in allision with the berthed 'Diyala' at Karachi while maneuvering to its berth. She initially struck berth 25, bounced off and allided with the 'Diyala' which was moored at Berth 26. The quay suffered most damage. The 'Da Xin' finally was moored at the Karachi International Container Terminal. The 'Diayala' left the port again on Oct 22 at 8.15 a.m., bound to Jebel Ali with an ETA as of OCt 23, 7 a.m.
