Purse seiner tilted at the quay
The 'Slåtterøy' with a crew of ten on board suddenly began to tilt heavily to starboard side in the afternoon of March 21, 2020, in Austevoll. The crew members who were just washing down the deck saved themselves by jumping ashore from the vessel. The list was caused by a water tank on deck, the content on which swamped to one side so the purse seiner lost balance. When the water was pumped out, the ship could be brought back on even keel.
