Yacht grounded off Bangor
The 'Starling', en route from Inverkip to Gosport with 11 people on board, ran aground in position 54 40 09 N, 005 40 47 W, at the entrance to Bangor marina, on Sep 6, 2022, at 12.40 a.m. UTC and issued a Pan Pan call. The lifeboat of the RNLI station Bangor and zjr Bangor CRT were tasked zo sddidz. The yacht refloated without assistance at 12.50 a.m. and proceeded safely to the marina.
