The "Karam" was subjected to a Port State Control (PSC) inspection, under the Paris Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), after its arrival at the port of Thessaloniki on Sep 9, 2019. As a result of finding serious shortcomings and irregularities aboard the vessel, in accordance with Annex X / EC 16/2009, it was detained in port by the PSC inspectors.
