Explosion onboard bulker off Weihai, five injured
Dalian: A crankcase onboard the bulker “Tian Xiang 69” exploded yesterday morning while the vessel was sailing off Weihai. Five crew members were badly injured. Beihai Rescue Bureau, part of the Ministry of Transport, sent out a helicopter and has brought the wounded to the nearby hospital. The incident is now under investigation. [SinoShipNews 05/11/14]
