Sat Feb 04 17:16:11 CET 2017 Timsen

The "Tonny", coming from Sortland, ran aground on Brottøy north of Raftsundet on Feb 4, 2017, at 1 p.m. The lifeboat "Sundt Flyer" and the tug "NSO Crusader" (IMO: 8224470) were called to assist and undertook several attempts to tow the ship off. Finally it dislodged with the rising tide around 3.55 p.m. It had suffered a hole in the bow and set the course for Harstad after the accident, followed by the "NSO Crusader".
