US G0V VESSEL

Sun May 08 11:09:44 CEST 2011 arnekiel

The San Diego-based cruiser Bunker Hill helped shut down a pirate group that was launching attacks on vessels in the Arabian Sea, the Navy said today. The incident occurred on May 5 when a distress call was issued by the Full City, a Panamanian-flagged merchant vessel. The Turkish ship Giresun, which is part of NATOs counter piracy operation, secured the Full City while Bunker Hill raid a dhow that was being used as a mothership for pirate operations in the region, the Navy says. http://www.signonsandiego.com/news/2011/may/07/san-diego-cruiser-thwarts-pirates-arabian-sea/
