Ship demolished following engine failure

Tue Nov 10 10:28:38 CET 2020 Timsen

Repairs of the engine damage of the 'Vega Zeta' could not be carried since the repair expenses were too high. The vessel was sold to an Aliaga based shipbreaker. Upon completion of formalities, a tug towed the vessel to the Aliaga scrapyard, where it was berthed at the recycling pier in the middle of October. As of Oct 9, the vessel's status was changed from "Live" to "Dead", and it was finally beached on Sep 9.
