Scali Reali in port

Sat May 30 16:38:08 CEST 2015 Timsen

On May 30 at 4.20 a.m. the "Scali Reali" finally entered the port of Kårstø. The ship had suffered an engine failure off the port, suffered a blackout and lost propulsion power. Due to the calm sea and good weather the ship was not in immediate danger and, after requesting assistance from the local authorities, was towed to Kårstø anchorage for repairs and inspection. The unlaoded ship was underway from Le Havre to Haugesund and was to load petroleum gas before heading to Canada.

On May 29, 2015, the "Scali Reali" suffered engine trouble enroute from Le Havre, where she had sailed on May 24, to Karto off Haugesund.
