Thu Apr 28 11:01:48 CEST 2022 Timsen

Indonesia's navy seized two tankers carrying crude palm oil, palm olein and methanol for permit and paperwork violations, in an operation conducted a day before a palm oil export ban took effect, on April 28, 2022. The 'World Progress' violated vessel specifications in its travel document, while the 'Annabelle' carried methanol without a permit, according to the navy, which has been deployed to enforce the export ban, which took effect midnight on April 27. The 'World Progress' was en route from Dumai on Sumatra island towards Kandla, loaded with 34,854.3 tonnes of palm olein, while the 'Annabelle' was seized off Borneo island, heading to Shajrah.

Medevac off San Francisco

Wed May 08 09:44:54 CEST 2019 Timsen

A Coast Guard helicopter crew medevaced a 28-year-old man who was injured aboard the "High Progress" off the coast of San Francisco in the morning ofMay 7, 2019. At approximately 2:20 p.m. Coast Guard watchstanders received an email from the tanker about a member who reportedly fell and suffered a neck injury. Due to aircraft limitations, a Coast Guard Air Station San Francisco MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew could not immediately be dispatched to recover the injured man. Watchstanders monitored the man’s condition while the oil tanker continued its course towards San Francisco. At approximately 4:20 a.m., the Dolphin helicopter crew arrived on scene approximately 65 miles off the coast of San Francisco, hoisted the man and transported him to Stanford Medical Center in Palo Alto.
