Disabled shrimper towed to Lauwersoog
On Jan 22, 2015, at 1 p.m. the "Marry Ann - WR 71", 40 gt (IMO: 8342742) requested assistance of the Dutch Coastguard after having encountered clutch problems which the crew was unable to resolve on board. The "Zwaantje - WR 112" first took the shrimper in tow until the lifeboat "Annie Jacoba Visser" of the KNRM station Lauwersoog took over and moored it alongside the fish auction quay in Lauwersoog where the vessel remained since.
