Grounding on Jiaojiang river
The "Xin Zuang Hong" ran aground in the estuary of the Jiaojiang river in Taizhou, Zhejiang province, on July 14, 2019, at 1.50 a.m. The hull was breached with ensuing water ingress, and the 13 crew members prepared to abandoned vessel. A patrol boat was sent to assist and rescue the crew if necessary. However, thez managed to gain control of the water ingress. The vessel was refloated at 04.10 a.m. with the high tide, and at 07.45a.m. it was berthed at Jiaojiang Port.
