Trawler disabled in Okhotsk Sea
The MRCC Petropavlovsk Kamchatka was alerted on Jan 2, 2018, at 05.55 a.m. by a distress call from the "Yogo Yostok 1" with 84 crew members on board, reported a fouled propeller off the coast of Kamchatka in the Okhotsk Sea. The propeller had been fouled by a mooring line during unmooring from the reefer "Tambov" (IM0: 8225723). The disabled oceanic trawler was adrift and waiting for the arrival of the SAR tug "Predanny" (IMO: 7831898).
