Fishing vessel sank after collision with Da Li 20

In dense fog the "Da Li 20", coming from Tianjin, was in collision with a local fishing vessel in the evening of May 21, 2014, about 50 nautical miles west of Shidao port in the Yellow Sea, odin.tc reports. The fishing vessel sank, the freighter suffered a breach in bow area and lost its portside anchor, a water ingress was reported. All 20 fishermen were rescued by the "Da Li 20". Chinese rescuers rushed to the scene and stabilized the freighter. The vessel was docked at the Rongcheng Yuantong Shipyard in Shidao on May 22 short past midnight and shifted to the local bulk terminal in the morning hours.
