Thu Sep 06 09:32:58 CEST 2018 Timsen

On Sep 5, 2018, at 01.55 a.-m. the NSRI Plettenberg Bay duty crew was activated following a request for medical assistance from the "Active" reporting a crew member onboard suffering a suspected stroke (CVA – Cerebro Vascular Accident). The vessel was steaming towards Plettenberg Bay from the fishing grounds deep sea in calm sea conditions. The lifeboat "Ray Farnham" was launched.
