Propulsion trouble off Rotterdam

Mon Sep 11 08:59:09 CEST 2017 Timsen

The "Maersk Rosyth" encountered propulsion problems off the Maas lock-west whilst inbound for Rotterdam on Sep 5, 2017. The ship had sailed from Le Havre on Sept 1. The tug "Fairplay 23" rendered assistance to keep the tanker in the fairway and avoiding that the ship ran aground. The vessel berthed at the Eruroport Caland Canal in Rotterdam around 6 a.m.. The tanker left the port again on Sep 12 around 4 a.m. bound to Le Havre, where it arrived on Sep 13 around 4 a.m.
